Our recent stay at the Queen's Head was fantastic! The location couldn't have been better, right in the center of town. We loved that the accommodation was separate from the pub, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a tremendous shower. We also appreciated the friendly welcome we received upon arrival. The real ale selection at the pub was impressive, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby eateries, including the top-quality Indian restaurant, Taj Mahal. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for a night away.

The pub itself may be somewhat dated, but the location is amazing right in the town with the bars and a great base for exploring the Peak District. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with modern amenities. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious made-to-order full English breakfast in the morning.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was the best, right in the center of town, away from any noise from the pub. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, they were modern and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, flexible, and accommodating. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff even asked how we preferred our eggs. it was a great experience.

Bathroom is modern with good shower and there's a pleasant range of tea and coffee. Sky TV is a plus point. The room was a bit on the small side with quite thin mattresses that weren't that comfortable. the carpet in the room did look like it needed a good clean as well.
