Lovely, quaint pub with a warm and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the bar and were pleasantly surprised to find out that dogs were welcome. The forest walk nearby was a great bonus for our furry friend to stretch their legs. a charming experience. I would highly recommend this place.

The attention to detail was top-notch, from the crisp towels in the well-appointed rooms to the thoughtful addition of a kettle for making tea and coffee. The location was perfect for exploring the beauty of the Lakes, being just a short distance from both Keswick and Ullswater. The staff at this hotel were truly excellent, providing friendly and helpful service throughout my stay. And the breakfast, included in the price, was simply incredible - a delicious start to each day.

I recently stayed at Troutbeck Inn for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The owners, Alan and Nikki, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite being new to the hotel, they made sure all guest requests were promptly and cheerfully addressed. The location was ideal, surrounded by beautiful hills and with easy access to the North lakes. The rooms were comfortable and had a homely feeling. The food was excellent, with a varied and tasty menu. it was a great value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful property, lovely downstairs area, great breakfast, friendly staff, dog friendly. Excellent hosts, down to earth family people who go above and beyond. Top-notch food, impressive Yorkshire pud. Nice bar area, albeit closing early. Well worth a stay!

Liked the location of this cozy inn, perfect for touring the lakes. the friendly staff provided amazing service and were very attentive to our needs. We appreciated the extra touch of little chocolates on our pillows and the lovely toiletries provided.

Disliked that the room was a bit cold, but we understand that heating can be expensive and it was not a major inconvenience. some plumbing and lighting issues could be improved.
