We were greeted warmly by Rod and Helen who provided lots of local information. The room had a lovely view of the sea and had special touches like mints on the pillow and galaxy hot chocolate sachets. The shower was powerful and the shower gel supplied was lovely. The bed was super comfy and breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.

The owners of Varley House were exceptional hosts, making me feel incredibly welcome during my stay. The large room with a beautiful view, complete with a bath and shower, was a true delight. I appreciated the added touch of a hospitality tray in the room, which included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits. The breakfast spread was like a banquet, offering a wide variety of options including cereal, fruit salad, croissants, and a delicious full English breakfast. The value for money was excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Although the hotel is situated on a hill, which may be tiring in hot weather, I found that the location was still convenient and easily accessible to the town. The TV in the room was basic and had a few issues with signal reception, but it didn't affect my stay much as I spent most of my time exploring the local attractions.

I recently stayed at Varley House in a quiet neighborhood for a short getaway. Rod, the attentive host, provided outstanding service from arrival to special requests. The room was spotless and inviting, with a grand shower. The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of fresh fruit, cereal, and more. The dining room was pleasant, spacious, and airy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This guest house is located on a steep hill, which may prove difficult for those with walking problems. However, it is conveniently positioned for a walk into town and offers great sea and harbor views. The owners are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay. The rooms are well looked after and clean. Guests appreciate the attention to detail and the helpfulness of the owners.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with useful advice on reaching the harbor and the cycle route. They even took care of my bike upon arrival. Additionally, the breakfast was superb, and the bedroom was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel's location on a hillside allowed for easy walking access to the town, harbor, and beach.

The breakfast served here is delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. this place provides enhanced comfort and quality services that are quite luxurious.

Got a good rate for our romantic escape at a hotel. the shower water was hot and the bed was comfortable. the location was quite convenient, with the train station and several shops within walking distance.

I was really let down by the overall cleanliness of the hotel, especially the bathroom. It was clear that housekeeping didn't put in enough effort to make sure it was spotless before we checked in.

The hosts were friendly and always ready to help, providing us with useful weather updates for our boat trips. we would highly recommend this B&B to our friends and family.

On a slightly less positive note, the bed in our room was a bit hard for my liking, but my spouse found it perfectly comfortable. Nevertheless, the B&B staff cannot please everyone, and this was a minor inconvenience amidst an otherwise perfect stay.
