Lovely views, friendly staff, great location, comfy and clean rooms, fabulous restaurant with lake view.

Nothing not to like.

It was also convenient to be able to park in the hotel's car park and not have to rely on the car during our stay. The food at the hotel was fantastic, and we had dinner there both nights. The service was excellent as well.

The amount of traffic in the area detracted from the overall experience. It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in the room for convenience.

Incredibly comfortable bed, well stocked room with complimentary drinks, heated bathroom floor, extensive DVD collection, pool and spa access nearby, close to Ambleside town center.

Our stay at The Inn Collection Group in Ambleside was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with our kids. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore Ambleside and the lake easily. The breakfast was delicious and the portions for kids were generous. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities like a coffee machine and White Company toiletries. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we would definitely recommend this hotel. a great experience!

As backpackers, we loved the stunning view of Lake Windermere from our room. The complimentary local gingerbread and coffee were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options. The hotel was dog-friendly, providing food bowls, a dog bed, and natural treats. The room was spacious and had a beautiful ensuite.

Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had an excellent selection of gin, and the manager was very knowledgeable. The location was stunning, with a lake view from our room. Being able to park at the hotel and not use the car again until we left was a huge advantage.

The car parking was restricted and tight, even in the courtyard area. The amount of traffic going through the area detracted from the beauty of the location.

I enjoyed a great breakfast with excellent staff. The location was perfect, with a lovely town just a short walk away. The comfortable bed had a beautiful view of Lake Windermere. The newly renovated rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The pleasant staff made my stay enjoyable. The breakfast selection was good, with plenty of tables available. a great stay that I would recommend to others.

I got great value for my money at The Waterhead Inn. The room was spacious and had excellent amenities, with a lovely view of the lake. The location was perfect, near the center of town, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The breakfast selection could be improved, especially in terms of variety.

The staff at The Waterhead Inn were extremely helpful and polite, except for one waiter. The location of the hotel is excellent, right by the water with a lovely view. The hotel was very clean, both the room and public areas. The bed was really comfy. The staff worked hard and efficiently. The breakfast was tasty. Catching the bus or ferry from the hotel's convenient location was ideal. Don't miss the delicious ice cream dipped in chocolate from the cafe opposite the hotel.
