The hotel was amazing, rooms were super clean and had the best sea views ever! Loved the complimentary pantry on each floor with yummy cookies and the terrace bar served great drinks with a view to die for. 🌅 Enjoyed the chill vibes at the pool area and the top-notch food in every eatery.

We hit the beach and chilled at the tiki bar, then caught a dope outdoor ceremony by the Gulf. We partied it up in the fancy Opal Ballroom with epic views and mad chandeliers. It was like a movie scene!

The only thing that would've made this stay even better is if the hotel had some sick beach volleyball courts. That would've been the ultimate vibe for us and our crew.

Opal Sands is truly the prettiest hotel in Clearwater, close to the Pier and beach. The pool, delicious food, and friendly staff were wonderful. The balcony offered comfy seating to spot dolphins and rays. A relaxing stay, with amenities like the outdoor jacuzzi and beach bar boosting family bonding. Nearby landmarks added to the experience, enhancing our 3-day stay.

While Clearwater Beach glistens, the lack of a reserved beach area felt like bikini blues—no chairs even with the resort fee. the hustle and bustle of public beach life added a salty charm to our stay.

This hotel has an ideal location right on the beach with amazing Gulf views from the large patio. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean, with friendly staff and good service. The hotel also has a great restaurant and bar, and live music is played daily at the beach access Sand Bar. Additionally, there are plenty of nearby restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance.

Some of the additional fees, such as mandatory valet parking and resort fees, can be expensive and inconvenient for visitors.

I always come back for the warm welcome and helpful staff. They even brought me water at night once. This place has everything I need - Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, pools, spa, gym. I'm excited to return for Christmas.
