I had a great stay that was marked by the fantastic convenience of being just a short walk to the Ala Moana Center for shopping and dining, and the nearby beaches offered stunning views and relaxing strolls that made each day feel special.

Convenient location near attractions and shopping.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by ongoing maintenance that I wasn't informed about until check-in. The drilling was incessant and disrupted my work schedule, making it difficult to focus during important meetings. I felt that better communication regarding the hotel's condition prior to arrival would have allowed for better planning on my part.

Location's sweet as, but the breakfast options were kind of average, lacking flavour and variety. Chur to the staff for being friendly, though!

The Waikiki Tower Ocean View room offered a stunning sight of the ocean and sunsets each evening. Enjoying morning coffee on the balcony was a delightful way to start the day. However, the service was inconsistent. the initial check-in felt rather underwhelming, lacking warmth. I faced a frustrating power outage during my stay, which led to a last-minute room change, disrupting my work schedule. Although the valet and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, a more cohesive approach to customer service would enhance the experience.

Our family enjoyed a short stroll to the beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park, where we soaked in the Hawaiian sun and swam in refreshing waters. Having our two dogs with us made it even more special as they loved the outdoor spaces.

My kids wished for better breakfast options included for families.

The location is fantastic, with convenient access to shopping and dining, and the staff was always friendly, helping us with toiletries needs and providing extra towels when requested. The pool area offered a great place to unwind! ☀️✨

However, the housekeeping could have been more thorough as we noticed some cleanliness issues.

We had a fantastic stay at Ala Moana, where staying with our two teenage kids made it even better. The location was perfect for a quick 10-minute stroll to beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park, where we enjoyed swimming in the turquoise waters and soaking up the Hawaiian sun.

In my wife’s opinion, breakfast options could improve.

Loved the central vibe! staff were super friendly and accommodating. The ground floor had a Starbucks and shops, making it easy to grab a quick bite. Great pool area with a nice view too!

However, some of the dining options could be more varied, and the restaurant experience was a bit hit or miss.

Fabulous location. just a stroll to the beach and shops. front desk staff were super helpful. printed important documents for me. great pool area for relaxing. loved the happy hour vibes!

The Ala Moana Hotel is conveniently located next to the Ala Moana Shopping Center, making dining and shopping exceedingly easy. While the room was clean and equipped, it could benefit from a refresh. Staff appeared happy and assisted promptly when we needed extra supplies, making the experience more enjoyable.

Comfortable room, convenient location, with a fantastic ocean view from the balcony that made morning coffee delightful, and easy access to a bustling shopping center for last-minute needs.
