Beautiful property with a rich history, built in 1872 by Ambrose Bierce. Convenient location on the main road, but the surroundings are so beautiful that you hardly notice the traffic noise. Nice hot tub available at any time. Extremely comfortable beds and high-quality towels and amenities. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants, reducing the need for Uber. Received certificates for Model Bakery, which was a nice substitute for breakfast. Excellent relaxing stay, with a deck on the second story to sit and read. Wine and cheese, fresh cookies, and good suggestions from the host. Community room with coffee and tea for a comfortable work space. Met fun people at meals, creating a lively atmosphere. Easy parking.
