Pleasant stay with beautiful views

I had a lovely visit at Ashmore Inn and Suites. The room was comfortable and the lakefront view from the third floor was stunning. The friendly staff and the impressive breakfast options, along with the indoor pool, made my stay enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

Handicap parking near the entrance is commendable. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a pleasant layout. The location is convenient, just a short walk to Cracker Barrel. The hot tub? Amazing. The pool was well-maintained too. the cleanliness left much to be desired. Hair on the bathroom floor and dust on the entertainment center were disappointing. The breakfast experience was subpar; limited options and unattended food did not reflect well on the hotel. An unexpected pet fee was frustrating. I felt it was excessive for a well-behaved dog. Staff were friendly, particularly Rojelio, but service inconsistencies couldn’t be ignored. A solid stay, but improvements are necessary for a seamless experience.

I was blown away by the spacious suite with a kitchen! The Texas-shaped waffles at breakfast were a delightful treat. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helped us ease our worries about our dirt bike!

Great location right off I-40. Super clean room, comfy bed, and kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Breakfast has improved a lot – lots of hot options and really tasty. Staff was friendly and kept everything stocked. Fitness centre is a nice bonus. Some areas seemed a bit worn and hot, but overall good value.

I really struggled with the slippery bathtub in my room. There were no grab rails anywhere, so I had to awkwardly try to balance using the soap holder. Honestly, these should be standard in every hotel to avoid falls.

This hotel offers an excellent base for exploring Amarillo, with the American Quarter Horse Museum just a short 500-meter walk away and the vibrant Route 66 Historic District only 2.4 kilometers away where I enjoyed a delightful walk filled with unique shops and landmarks; additionally, there’s a Cracker Barrel right next door for easy dining. The hotel itself has clean rooms, friendly staff, and a complimentary breakfast that was a nice perk, but the dim lighting in the building could definitely use a bit of brightness.

Optimal selection for a quick layover in Amarillo with excellent value for money. The pool was warm and well kept.

Clean room, clean staff with excellent customer service demonstrated by the night clerk who promptly assisted with issues in our room and the breakfast staff who kept the food bar tidy and replenished.

The front desk lady was a gem, tirelessly moving us to cleaner rooms, but the state of the hotel was disappointing—broken toilets, ripped curtains, and peeling paint everywhere. Breakfast was chaotic; limited options running out early and a cold, chewy side dish left me underwhelmed. The surprise $50 hold felt unnecessary and uncommunicated, added to an already frustrating experience. The weak Wi-Fi, awkward bed positioning, and cramped gym equipment didn’t help either. the staff's effort to fix issues was commendable. A mix of promising service overshadowed by significant maintenance needs.

Our kids were thrilled by the nearby golf course, making our family time even more special. The spacious room, clean pool, and helpful staff added to our delightful experience. It was a perfect family-friendly getaway!

I got my cultural fix at the art museum 8 km away, enjoyed the indoor pool, Wi-Fi, and the lovely outdoor courtyard. Great spot for golf enthusiasts nearby.

I loved struggling to communicate in Spanish at breakfast. Great way to start the day!
