our recent stay at avalon was fantastic. after a disappointing previous visit, we were pleasantly surprised by how much the hotel has improved. the location is perfect for shopping and dining, and the staff were friendly and helpful. we loved the upgraded villa and the "breathe easy" package was a great bonus.

I absolutely loved the retro-modern decor of this hotel. The property had an old Hollywood modernism vibe that was simply stunning. The grounds were impeccably maintained and the pools were heated, making them perfect for a relaxing swim. The location was also fantastic, as it was within walking distance to everything in the city while still maintaining a peaceful oasis feeling. The staff, especially Don at the valet stand, were incredibly friendly, cheerful, and helpful. They even went the extra mile by providing complimentary umbrellas when it rained one night. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find a variety of vegetarian and vegan options available for breakfast. All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, facilities, location, and staff.

I recently stayed at the Avalon Hotel And Bungalows for a weekend getaway. The gardens and pools were incredibly charming and elegant, with beautiful grapefruit and orange trees scattered throughout the property. The Hollywood glam decor in our spacious suite made us feel like we were in a bygone era. We loved exploring the area on the complimentary bikes, riding to see the notable houses and sights. The staff were truly wonderful and hospitable, remembering us throughout our stay and helping with our luggage. The grounds were well-kept, with manicured lawns and a warm, inviting courtyard. The pools were a delight, with at least one of them heated for those chilly mornings. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary sparkling wine upon check-in.

Great pools and beautiful common areas, with comfortable beds and Egyptian cotton sheets. Food and restaurant are also top-notch. Staff goes above and beyond to be helpful with many amenities available, such as sunscreen and towels by the pool in the morning. TV channel choice is impressive.

We loved that the pools were open 24 hours, which was a rare perk. The spa facilities were great, with water and towels readily available. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating, especially Don Devine, who provided excellent service. The location is convenient, with a Rite Aid across the parking lot and downtown just a street over.

The hotel had a great restaurant with delicious food and poolside dining. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the manager who went above and beyond to assist us. the location of the hotel was perfect, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

The rooms were a bit outdated and in need of renovation. the noise levels were also quite high, as we could hear the sound of carts being rolled by early in the morning, disturbing our sleep.

As low-budget travelers, we loved the beautiful grounds and friendly staff at Avalon Hotel. The pools were stunning and the food was great!

It’s in a convenient location within walking distance of everything, which made it really easy to explore the local area. The service from the attendants and especially the front manager was exceptional, they were warm and welcoming and I felt right at home. The spa & wellness centre was wonderful, especially the full body massage and jacuzzi which were both extremely relaxing. The outdoor swimming pool was lovely, with comfortable lounges and great views to enjoy.
