We had a comfortable and pleasant stay at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Village Green. Our room was spacious, well-lit, and clean, with a large bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked well, although there were a few intermittent outages. The breakfast area was well-staffed and had a good selection, including real oatmeal. We also appreciated the addition of a one-cup coffee maker in the room. The front desk staff was always available and helpful. we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel for its value and location.

The breakfast buffet included a variety of options such as hard boiled eggs, toast, cereals, and oatmeal. It was a good enough spread to start the day.

The room lacked a microwave, which would have been helpful for heating up leftovers or making quick meals.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel in a perfect location. the staff was welcoming and helpful, and the hotel was conveniently situated within walking distance of restaurants, Frenchman Bay, and the Village Green. We also appreciated the proximity to Acadia National Park. Our room was lovely, and we enjoyed the convenience of a quick breakfast in the morning. If we return to Bar Harbor, the Grand Hotel will be our top choice!

Recently stayed at The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel for three nights while visiting Acadia National Park. The hotel's location on main street was perfect, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. The spacious and comfortable rooms, along with the deep bath and shower combination, provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The included breakfast had a tasty selection, and the friendly and professional staff made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The free parking and convenient access to nearby attractions were added bonuses.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel right in the center of downtown. The location was perfect, as it was close to everything and right in the center of town. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, and even to the beautiful Frenchman Bay. The hotel had great facilities, including spacious and well-appointed rooms. The buffet breakfast was a cut above what is typically found at hotels, with delicious items like salsa served with eggs and bacon. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

This truly Grand hotel provided a vintage experience! The front desk staff surprised us with a personalized gift basket on our anniversary. Walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. we loved our stay and wouldn't go anywhere else. One concern we had was that the disabled parking was occupied by a non-disabled guest's car.
