Location is fantastic. Right on the beach and close to restaurants. Dog-friendly spot! Clean rooms with air conditioning and a balcony. Nice pool area with lights and fire pits at night. Free smores by the fire. Shuttle to the ski resort. Just wish the room was bigger and that we could charge stuff to our room.

The hotel is a gem, offering direct access to a beautiful beach right in the back, where you can enjoy music, cornhole, and delightful moments around the fire pits indulging in complimentary s’mores, all just a short stroll from the vibrant Heidi's Pancake House and other charming restaurants like Freshies and Local's Brunch Cafe that are all within a few minutes' walk; however, the parking situation could use some improvement.

The beach access was incredible – just steps from our room! The pool and hot tub were perfect for unwinding after a day of fun. S'mores by the fire pits with live music made our nights unforgettable!

Great location with convenient access to skiing and nearby amenities. Staff was courteous and the rooms were clean, boasting updated decor and a nice partial lake view. The fireplace added a cozy touch, and the free s'mores were a delightful bonus. Screaming and stomping went on until 3:30 AM, despite multiple calls to the front desk. The room had an unpleasant odor upon arrival, and essential amenities were lacking, like a table. the “heated” pool was freezing. With better management, more attention to cleanliness, and improved training of staff, this place has the potential to shine.

The room was comfortable enough for my needs, and I appreciated the two bottles of water at check-in. The location offered beautiful views, just a few steps from the beach. the carpets were filthy, and my kids’ feet got dirty after playing. I enjoyed the convenience of parking near my room, but it felt a bit cramped. Noise from the room above was sometimes disruptive. While I did appreciate the early check-in and proximity to a grocery store, the cleaning staff’s hurried approach was disappointing, especially when they discarded my belongings without notice.

The Beach Retreat & Lodge offers an incredible beachfront experience. My balcony view was breathtaking, and the proximity to the water was a highlight. amenities could use improvement; a desk would have been handy for our group, and some breakfast options would enhance the stay.

The on-site amenities such as the pool, s'mores in the evening, and easy access to restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance were nice additions to our trip. The view from the property was also quite enjoyable, offering a pleasant backdrop during our time there.
