Francis Scott Key Family Resort offers great amenities like an outdoor pool, arcade, and enjoyable movie nights. The staff's responsiveness to privacy needs stood out. room updates are necessary for a more comfortable stay, and noise from children at night was a concern.

We walked into our room and it was a total disappointment. The musty smell hit us right away, and the bathroom was just gross. The shower water smelled like rust, and it felt like no one had cleaned properly in ages.

Security concerns arose with an unguarded crawlspace nearby. Despite reassurances from staff, it was unsettling. An upgrade in decor and overall maintenance is necessary to elevate the experience. Better facilities could truly enhance this place.

The convenience of having both the boardwalk and beach just a short stroll away really made our trip memorable, as we were able to explore delicious restaurants like Panera Bread and local favorites such as Tequila Mockingbird within walking distance; we even hopped on the shuttle bus that quickly took us to the crowded boardwalk, saving us hassle with parking fees. The resort itself features kid-friendly pools and a laundry facility, which were perfect for our family vacation, but the rooms could benefit from some needed updates to enhance overall comfort.

The parking situation was chaotic, and our room had ants and dirty dishes. However, my 8-year-old loved the indoor pool with a water slide. The property was family-friendly, with fun activities for kids and a convenient shuttle service. The beds were comfy, and the staff was responsive. The motel-like room had cleanliness issues, but the pools were enjoyable and well-located. A teen disturbance during a movie screening was a downside, but the kid-friendly cinema and spacious room were highlights.

The staff were friendly, and quick access to the boardwalk via the free shuttle was a real time-saver. the place shows its age—some rooms were not as clean as expected, with issues like clogged drains and maintenance delays. It was frustrating dealing with uncomfortable mattresses and a broken heat system. Still, the pool area was a hit, and the kids had a blast, which made up for some of the bumps. Would love to return and try the cabins!
