During my transit in Galveston, I stayed at Best Western Plus and enjoyed the convenience of the nearby airport, situated on the north side of Houston. The hotel offered a pleasant beachfront location with an outdoor pool and a fitness center, ideal for a quick stopover. The rooms were well-equipped with refrigerators and microwaves, providing the comforts of home while on the go.

Despite reserving a king suite with a beach view, the only available room offered a view of the building's awning. Though the staff was accommodating, the inconvenience of not obtaining the specified room was a minor downside to an otherwise pleasant stay.

The variety of stores was great for the whole family, and we found some amazing deals. The kids loved spending time here, and my wife and I were able to relax while they shopped.

My wife says that a larger variety of breakfast options would make it even better for families with picky eaters.

We hit up the outlet shopping and then spent time at the beach, which was right outside our room! The balcony view was insane and we even caught some cool ships sailing by. The staff was super chill and the complimentary breakfast was a serious game-changer. Best vacay ever!

The only thing that would make this spot even better is if they had a cool rooftop bar for us party-people to hang out after dark!

The location is perfect and you can get in the ocean right across from the hotel on Seawall, where you can enjoy a great view of the waves. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the staff provided friendly service. They also offered a good breakfast with a nice selection of food. The hotel has a hot tub and is close to many shops and restaurants. The only downside was some outdated furniture in the room.

cleanliness was on point and the hotel's right across from the sea wall - so it's a breeze to hit the beach. the staff totally made our stay with their awesome service. plus, the breakfast spread was top notch!

This hotel is in an amazing location – right across from the Gulf and on the beach. You can watch the birds sweep by while enjoying the open view from your balcony. The breakfast buffet offers good value with plenty of options including sausages, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and waffles. The rooms are clean and well-supplied with towels and basic amenities.

In terms of maintenance and cleanliness.

The breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of options. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a great view of the ocean from the balcony. Additionally, the room size was spacious and comfortable.

Two out of three ice machines were not working during my stay, making it inconvenient to access ice. The rooms with a supposed ocean view had balconies that were mostly covered by the hotel's front canopy, which was misleading.
