For the price we paid, the value at this inn was unbelievable. The room was spacious and cozy, with a recliner chair and a beautiful ornamental fireplace. The location was perfect, just a short stroll past art galleries and the Kit Carson museum to get to the plaza. The staff treated us like family from the moment we arrived, even upgrading our room when my husband wasn't feeling well. It was truly a home away from home.

Hotel breakfast could have been improved with a better temperature control for the room, as the swamp cooler made it a bit too humid. Additionally, a stopper for the bathroom sink would have been helpful to avoid any accidents with smaller items.

We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and the afternoon snacks that were offered. The location was fantastic as we were able to walk to many shops, restaurants, and galleries. Another positive aspect was the comfortable beds that ensured we had a good night's sleep.

Our new year's stay had some negative aspects. The air conditioning system was not effective and took a while to cool the room, which is not ideal during hot weather.
