Excellent location near restaurants and grocery store, 10-minute walk to the beach. Room #3 on top floor was quiet, with natural light from windows on 3 sides. Enjoyed sitting areas around the property, especially the back patio with lemon tree and glowing lights. Staff was awesome, understanding when our card declined and trusted us to fix it.

Great staff, quiet neighborhood, convenient location near shops and restaurants, clean facilities, comfortable rooms. Ample space for two people with plenty of storage. Charming old house with character, cozy bedding, and a spacious tub with a high shower spout for tall guests. Enjoyable stay in a walkable city. 👍

I had a fantastic stay at this lodge. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and I loved the vintage style and cozy atmosphere. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful little garden where I could relax and meet nice people. The location was excellent, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach and close to the main street and great restaurants. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast basket provided, with bread, eggs, cheese, juice. The staff was kind and accommodating throughout my stay.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful lodge in a great location. Our room had a retro feel with a separate entrance, and we loved sitting on the patio under the lemon tree. The staff was always helpful, even organizing tickets for us. And they had beach toys for our little one. I highly recommend this place for families.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful B&B just a short walk away from the beach. the room was well-decorated with Victorian charm, and the location was perfect, with an array of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Street parking was readily available, and I loved the convenience of the continental breakfast and the ample supply of coffee pods and cold water bottles. the use of beach chairs was a nice touch, and I enjoyed relaxing on the patio outside our room.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just one block from the main avenue and within walking distance to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Additionally, it was very close to the city of San Diego.

The staff was helpful and showed me around the room. the bed was comfortable and there were chairs to relax in. the location was great, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

There was a small TV that I didn't use much and the room next to mine had a private bathroom that caused a disturbance when someone slammed the toilet seat in the middle of the night. the outside door code provided was wrong and there were no staff members on site after 3 pm.

We loved the cozy atmosphere and beautiful furnishings at Cherokee Lodge. The fresh pastries for breakfast and the availability of water and snacks throughout the day were a delightful treat. The cleanliness of our room was impressive, and we enjoyed spending time in the peaceful little garden. Plus, being close to the main street made it easy to explore the area. Parking was also convenient, even in August!

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the charming Cherokee Lodge! The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was spotless, with beautiful period furniture. The in-room breakfast trays were a great addition and the snacks and beverages available throughout the day were a nice touch. They even provided chairs and beach supplies for our convenience. This will be our go-to place whenever we visit the island. Love the cozy atmosphere!

One small improvement that could be made with the breakfast items is providing instructions on how to get boiling water for the instant oatmeal. Other than that, everything was great.
