The Clarketon Motel in Maggie Valley is perfect for bigger groups of friends. The room was like a mini apartment, with 4 beds and separate "rooms" within the room. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The friendly owners also gave great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

The staff were friendly and helpful, offering assistance whenever needed. The motel had excellent amenities including Coke machines, an ice machine, and a morning spread of coffee and donuts. The surrounding area was beautiful and well-maintained, with ample parking for cars and motorcycles.

The hotel's cleanliness was exceptional, with shiny hardwood floors that added a touch of elegance. Although the floors were a bit slippery getting into bed, everything else was spotless. The abundance of towels was greatly appreciated, and having a fridge and microwave in the room made our stay even more convenient. While there wasn't a closet, there were plenty of drawers for storage. The hotel's location in such a beautiful area was a huge plus, as it was close to everything in the valley and provided stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Additionally, the friendly and accommodating staff made us feel welcome and valued.

We loved the convenience of having a rocking chair outside our door to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The motel is also close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Asheville, making it a perfect location for exploring the area. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Clarketon Motel to others.

I recently stayed at the Clarketon Motel for a few nights while exploring the beautiful sights and motorcycle rides in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed the pool and the cozy rocking chairs outside of my room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the wifi in my room was very good. The couple who own the motel were lovely and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a kitchen and multiple beds. I would definitely come back and stay again!
