Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect - it was close to everything, including the fairgrounds, and there was even a good eating place called The Coppermill nearby. I really enjoyed being able to access a grassy area through an exit door as well.

The hotel offered a delicious breakfast with sausage gravy that we absolutely loved. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing warm and kind service from the moment we called to inform them of our late check-in. the location of the hotel was convenient, situated close to places to eat and only a 2-minute drive from the college where our daughter studies. Another advantage was the clean and comfortable rooms, equipped with all the necessary amenities like a refrigerator, ironing board, and even a safe.

During our stay, we encountered a couple of negative aspects. when we ordered food at the bar, there were interruptions at the front desk which delayed the delivery of one of our meals.

Despite that, we were able to explore the downtown area and found it to be a friendly little town with interesting houses. the staff were kind and thoughtful, making our stay enjoyable. the room itself was spacious and the site was clean.

One downside was the lack of a warm breakfast on weekends, which was inconvenient for us as we had to get up early for horse shows. Additionally, there was an uncomfortable situation during check-in where the departing staff seemed disinterested, making the incoming staff check us in immediately.
