This hotel has potential. The staff are welcoming and efficient, making check-in a breeze. Breakfast offers a variety that caters to all tastes, although the layout could use improvement; it feels cramped during peak hours. The pool area is impeccable. The room’s cleanliness and synthetic hardwood floors enhance comfort. the bed and pillows need urgent attention—flat and stiff sheets detract from an otherwise pleasant space. The marina offers stunning sunsets, but be prepared to navigate traffic for nearby beaches. The $125 pet fee feels excessive for limited pet-friendly space. Communication regarding late check-out needs clarity. I appreciate the vibe and location, but adjustments are necessary for a true getaway experience.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed offered a comfortable sleep, and the temperature control was effective. I enjoyed the great balcony with sunset views, although privacy was limited due to the close proximity of neighboring balconies. The shower was disappointing with low pressure and unlabeled toiletries, making it a challenge to wash properly. Noise levels fluctuated, especially with kids running around. A coffee station would be appreciated at all hours. Despite some minor inconveniences, the room served as a pleasant retreat after a long day of exploring.

The breakfast buffet was a delightful treat with fresh options every day. I loved lounging by the outdoor pool, soaking up the sun and catching stunning views. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special!

During my stay, I loved being just off Anna Maria Island, which is only a short drive away and offers beautiful beaches and plenty of parking options; the hotel also boasts a cozy ambiance and clean rooms with all the essential amenities. Although the on-site dining options could be improved since some restaurants were closed during my visit, the nearby attractions and quick access to the beach made my weekend strolls and relaxing moments by the shore truly delightful.

The friendly staff enhances the experience, though the awkward toilet paper holder and uncomfortable balcony furniture could use improvement. a solid choice for a relaxing stay close to waterfront dining.

The hotel offers great amenities like a pool, a fitness center, and even a beach shuttle. The buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and I loved the sun terrace. Getting pampered in the suburbs was quite an experience!

The location was perfect, right by the marina, but getting out in traffic was a hassle. Breakfast was good, staff like Noah and Dawn were great. However, cleanliness and room upkeep fell short. Good amenities, but noisy hallways at night.

The air conditioning in our room was pretty gross—there were crumbs and bits of food stuck inside it. It was such a turn-off and made me question how clean the rest of the place really was. So annoying!

The room was equipped with ironing facilities, which came in handy as I like to keep my clothes wrinkle-free. The heating and air conditioning worked well, ensuring a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. I also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room, perfect for a relaxing morning or evening drink. One of the highlights for me was the sitting area on the terrace. It offered a beautiful view and was a great spot to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee. The garden furniture was also a nice touch, perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a meal outdoors. The room came stocked with free toiletries, a nice touch that added convenience to my stay. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment options, although I didn't use it much with so much else to enjoy at the hotel. While the housekeeping was generally good, I did notice that the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles were not always restocked, which was a bit inconvenient. I found that some areas of the hotel could be improved, such as updating their website events to ensure accuracy and addressing the back bay smell. my stay at the Compass was enjoyable, with lovely amenities and a beautiful location. With a few adjustments, it could become an even more outstanding destination.
