Comfy accommodations, comfy amenities with a spacious bathroom that had everything we needed and a large bed that ensured a good night's sleep.

The room was spacious and well-maintained, with daily cleaning and fresh linens. The beds were marvelously comfy, making it easy to relax after long days. the temperature control was a challenge; it felt too chilly, and I couldn't adjust it. Noise was also an issue; I heard my neighbor’s sneezes clearly. The kitchenette was handy for light meals, which we appreciated. One downside was the lack of communication about entrances after hours, causing confusion.

The staff here are exceptional. Friendly, helpful, and truly welcoming. My room felt like a cozy apartment—though slightly outdated, comfort was never compromised. Great location; a short walk to major attractions. parking was chaotic. Unloading was a hassle, with just one luggage cart available. Limited parking options increased stress. Room amenities fell short. No fridge, no microwave, and the thermostat was unresponsive. Cleaning was inconsistent, and I faced issues with noise and television reception. The shower pressure? Intense, to the point of discomfort. Improvements in maintenance and guest services are essential. Despite the conveniences, enhancements are needed. Worth considering, but not without reservations.

Kitchenette was a convenient plus. The fridge was noisy throughout our stay. Happy hour specials at nearby bars made evenings enjoyable.

The State Plaza Hotel offers spacious rooms with impressive fixtures and a full-sized kitchen, perfect for longer stays. The hearty breakfast in the hotel restaurant is a highlight. While the location is ideal for visiting key sights, nearby dining options are limited.

My room was HUGE and so well appointed, with a kitchenette that made our stay even better! The beds and linens felt like clouds, and I might've stayed in bed all day if I could. Plus, the staff was super friendly and the location was perfect for all the must-see sights!

Perfect Base for Exploring Washington's Key Attractions

I had an amazing time strolling through the streets, as it was just a short walk to many iconic sights, including the Lincoln Memorial, only about a kilometer away, the National Gallery of Art, which is a pleasant 2.5 km walk, and the Kennedy Center, just under a kilometer away, allowing me to soak in the city's vibrant atmosphere; plus, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the spacious room with a kitchenette made it easy to feel at home, but the hotel itself does show its age a bit.

Great place for families with nice amenities like a free breakfast and a clean pool. The staff is friendly and always ready to help.

Walking to the National Mall was a breeze - so many sick museums to check out, like the National History Museum and the zoo! Plus, hailing a ride on the Metro was easy peasy for a night out at the lively Newseum or to vibe at The Lincoln Memorial.

It would've been even more epic if the hotel had a rad party spot for us young'uns to keep the good times rolling after hitting up those lit destinations.

The location is superb—just a short walk to the National Mall and close to the metro. The room was impressively spacious, equipped with a full kitchen; perfect for cooking meals. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff, except for one at reception, were friendly and helpful. the parking situation was confusing, and a few amenities were lacking, like proper cutlery for the kitchen. On a sour note, our experience with the manager was frustrating regarding a defective TV. A few missteps in service added a tinge of disappointment, but the positives still slightly outweigh the negatives.

I was really disappointed when I found out my room didn’t have the kitchenette that was promised. I ended up wasting food and spending over $400 on dining out, which totally blew our budget in pricey DC. So frustrating!

Omg, the location was perfect! literally a short walk to the white house and lincoln memorial. Rooms were spotless and comfy, but a bit musty. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was n't exciting. Wi-fi available. Overall, a solid stay! 😊👍
