We absolutely enjoyed our visit to the Southwest Virginia mountains, immersing ourselves in the vibrant music scene along The Crooked Road. The drive was picturesque, and the music venues showcased the rich heritage of the region. Additionally, the professional hair dryer in the room was a great help in getting ready for a show at the Barter Theatre, adding convenience to our stay.

My wife says that having a kids' play area or activity center on the premises would be ideal for families with children.

The hotel's location right off the highway was convenient for us, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the beautiful Creeper Trail was a major bonus for us, as we enjoyed an amazing bike ride along the scenic route.

I recently stayed at Country Inn in Abingdon for a girls' trip. The staff, particularly Jane in the food service area for breakfast, was phenomenal. Jane provided excellent dining recommendations and ensured the breakfast dishes were always hot and well stocked. Ashley at the front desk was also fantastic, arranging for our rooms to be next to each other. The staff in general was friendly and interactive, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the great experience I had at this hotel, especially considering my low expectations. I will definitely be returning next year.

Everything was spot on.

The breakfast was pretty good with variety offered including sausages and potatoes. the location is convenient, right off the interstate making travel simple. the room was spacious and clean.

The beds were unbearably stiff and uncomfortable which led to a sleepless night. the Wi-Fi was too slow and didn't load anything which made it difficult to enjoy a movie.
