I recently had a night stay at a hotel I normally trust. The customer service was fantastic, even got a discount by the staff's effort when I was just checking in with my military ID. The breakfast was surprisingly good, they made sure the coffee was hot and ready early in the morning just for early birds like me. I mean, the little things like a warm coffee and helpful staff can really brighten your day, right?

It wasn't the cheapest option I could find, but for what it offered, I’d say it was acceptable.

During my stay, the room condition was disappointing. The carpet had noticeable stains and the bathroom door would not close properly, which was frustrating. Additionally, we encountered unclean areas, and our towels were not restocked, leaving us to ask for fresh ones. For the price we paid, the overall experience did not meet expectations.

The check-in was a bit of a circus, took ages and ended with a room swap that wasn't thrilling. I mean, who knew finding a room at a hotel could feel like a missed connection at an airport?
