delightful stay at country inn & suites with outstanding breakfast, warm pool, and the friendliest staff ever encountered in my travels

Fantastic breakfast and exceptional staff teamwork!

I chose this hotel for its good ratings and convenient location. Joy at check-in was delightful, and the room appeared clean, with a decent breakfast. The suite with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa initially felt comfortable, but I made a critical mistake by sleeping on the couch, leading to severe bug bites. While the indoor pool was a highlight for the kids, the property feels outdated and neglected. Dirty walls, a poorly maintained pool, and unkempt hallways detracted from the experience. I reported the issue with no real resolution. Renovations and proper cleaning are necessary for this establishment to regain its former quality.

The location makes you feel like you’re in the middle of all the action. The breakfast staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast options are fantastic with plenty to choose from.

The pool's paint is peeling and it was a bit of a bummer.

We checked in late, and our room wasn’t ready until 6 PM without an apology. When we finally got in, we found toenail clippings on the sofa bed, and the bathroom had a strong sewage smell. Just gross overall.

Despite the quiet location, the overall cleanliness was lacking; there was a dead bug behind the toilet, and the mirror had smudges on it. The ice machine was unappealing, and the carpet in the halls looked worn and stained. I appreciated the friendly staff and the convenient breakfast, yet some areas need attention for an improved stay.

Comfortable beds, spacious rooms with a TV in each room that made our stay enjoyable, especially since the beds provided a great night's sleep and the rooms were incredibly clean.

Great location with a well-lit parking lot and friendly staff. The breakfast had fantastic options, though it got crowded quickly. The room was spacious, perfect for our family, and the pool was warm. a giant stain on the bed was off-putting, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired—with mold in some areas and dirty hallways. Two of my personal items went missing after housekeeping, and the staff's response felt defensive. The facility definitely shows signs of wear and could use some updating to justify the price.

Let's start with the positives - the ironing facilities were handy, and the heating in the room kept us warm and cozy during our stay. The air conditioning worked well too, which was great given the fluctuating temperatures outside. I also appreciated having access to tea and coffee facilities in the room, a nice touch for those early mornings. there were a few areas that could be improved. I wish there was a more comfortable sitting area in the room, as the current setup felt a bit cramped. The lack of garden furniture outside was disappointing, as I would have loved to enjoy the beautiful weather. As for the bathroom, the bathtub could have been cleaner - it had some grime that needed attention. the overall cleanliness of the room could have been better, especially considering the dusty smell and musty ashtray odor. Despite these issues, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was satisfying. But it's crucial that the management addresses these cleanliness issues to ensure a comfortable stay.

It was just a fitting option for a weekend breather in Helen with all in all brilliant value for money. The room was spacious and clean.

Wonderful family-friendly stay with great amenities

Our experience at Country Inn & Suites was fantastic! The spacious suite accommodated our family of seven perfectly. The staff was extremely accommodating, and the delicious breakfast provided plenty of options. Plus, the clean pool area was a hit with the kids, all within walking distance of local attractions!

Walking distance to shops and restaurants - perfect location! Would DEFINITELY choose to stay again. The rooms were even better than in the photos! 🌟
