The room itself was comfortable with a large sitting area, the bed was cozy, and the hotel's proximity to various dining and shopping options made exploring easy and enjoyable. The size of the room and the well-designed bathroom were standout features, and the cafe in the lobby was a pleasant surprise. Despite some drawbacks like occasional noise from neighbors and challenges with room temperature regulation, the overall experience was positive. The hotel's amenities like the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi provided relaxation opportunities, while the nearby landmarks such as the Roedde House Museum, Vancouver Downtown, Granville Island, and the Vancouver Art Gallery Offsite added cultural richness to our family bonding moments. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and comfortable beds. With attention to minor issues, the Blue Horizon Hotel could elevate its guests' overall experience even further.

As a senior, I particularly appreciated the warm and inviting ambiance throughout the hotel, making me feel at ease and comfortable. The general areas were easily accessible, with spacious hallways and well-maintained elevators, which made moving around the hotel effortless for seniors like myself.

The only thing I would ask for to better cater to senior vacationers is for the children of the staff to provide a slightly warmer welcome at check-in. A more heartfelt greeting would have added an extra touch of warmth to the start of our stay.

The only minor inconvenience I experienced during my stay was the noise level in the hotel corridor. Some guests were quite loud, talking and laughing right outside the room, which could be slightly disruptive.

The marmalade at the restaurant was a game-changer—rumored to be straight from grandma's secret stash. The views over Vancouver were jaw-dropping, giving prime Instagram material for days. David, the bellboy extraordinaire, added a sprinkle of charm to our stay.

The only chill we couldn't find was in the room. AC played hard to get, keeping things at a toasty 25°C.

The noise from the street could be quite loud, even on the 27th floor, making it a bit challenging to relax after a long day of travel.

Comfortable Stay with Stunning Views and Convenient Location

The beds were incredibly comfortable, offering a great night's sleep, and the rooms were spacious with beautiful views over the harbor. the hotel's central location made it easy to explore Vancouver, with Stanley Park and Canada Place within walking distance. the only downside was that the A/C was a bit loud and could benefit from a more silent sleep mode.

staying at blue horizon was a delightful experience. the location was fantastic, close to shops and the christmas markets. the rooms were cozy, with soundproofing that kept out street noise. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. the parking was convenient with in and out privileges, at a reasonable cost. we would definitely choose to stay here again.
