I had an enjoyable stay with clean and decent-sized rooms, and it was fantastic to discover that I was just a short drive away from several parks like Siminski Park and Lennox Park, which are both less than 4 kilometers away, perfect for relaxing strolls or picnics. There are also lovely dining options nearby, including several cozy restaurants just a few steps from the hotel, which made it easy to grab a meal after a long day of exploring. The complimentary shuttle service to the airport was a great bonus and eased my travel stress, but I did experience some minor inconveniences with noise from the housekeeping area that could be addressed.

Clarissa Vargas at the front desk was a standout—professional, friendly, and deserving of a raise. The room was clean and comfortable, though the awkward bathroom-sink layout was a minor annoyance. Room service was surprisingly affordable with delicious options, and the breakfast menu offered a hearty meal. Unfortunately, a cold interaction with a receptionist dampened things as I dealt with a mix-up about my package and promo code. The shuttle service was great inbound, but disappointing on the return when the driver skipped the international terminal. Still, I’d consider returning despite the hiccups.

The check-in process was frustrating. Rude staff compounded problems, including overcharging that required excessive follow-up. the breakfast service was delightful; great food and the best coffee I found in the country. Parking fees are exorbitant, especially with a rental car. Firm mattresses left much to be desired. Attention to these details could elevate the experience significantly.

The Courtyard by Marriott LAX offers exceptional cleanliness and friendly staff. It's just a short walk to Terminal 1, making it perfect for overnight layovers. While dining options nearby are limited, the 24/7 airport shuttle is a major plus for travelers.

While some amenities needed attention, the proximity to the airport and friendly staff made up for it. The comfortable bed and helpful front desk staff were highlights. I'll consider returning for a longer stay.
