Perfectly situated for exploring Savannah's charming attractions

I loved how close we were to the waterfront, just a block away, making it super easy to stroll along River Street and explore nearby parks and historic sites, including Forsyth Park which is only a 20-minute walk and the Cathedral of St John the Baptist a bit over a mile away; the staff were friendly and the hotel featured a beautiful lobby and relaxing lounge area, but the breakfast price was a bit high for what we got.

The room was immaculate and comfortable with all the amenities like a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee maker, and a seating area. The view was amazing too! Breakfast was a bit pricey, but tasty. Friendly staff made it all better. Loved being a short walk from River Street, plus the bar and fitness center were great bonuses.

The location offered easy access to several nearby attractions, making it convenient for exploring. The room, however, left much to be desired. Despite its clean smell, the carpet was worn and had an uninviting appearance. The bedding looked dingy and felt uncomfortable. Noise from traffic was a constant presence, disrupting sleep. The air conditioning was outdated, creating an uninhibited racket. The Jacuzzi tub was a nice touch, but the jets shut off frequently, diminishing the experience. Staff was friendly, but our room wasn't serviced properly, leading to issues that could easily be improved with better attention to detail.

The lobby vibe was absolutely charming with that cozy gas fireplace glowing every night! The comfy rooms with mini fridges and a great pool area made my stay unforgettable!

Loved the prime spot, so close to everything! Room was spacious and comfy with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The staff were super helpful and the lobby is just beautiful. The free cookies at check-in are a sweet touch. Just wished the shower had better water pressure and the traffic noise was a bit bothersome at times.

Comfortable room, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and efficient charging areas for all our devices.

Clean rooms and comfy beds made for a cozy atmosphere. The location near River Street was perfect, making morning breakfasts easy and convenient, though they felt a bit overpriced for what was offered. Valet service was excellent, despite the steep fees. the noise from the street was a drawback, and the carpeting needed serious attention—it felt worn and grimy. There was a lack of basic linens, which was odd for a multi-night stay. Still, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making the experience enjoyable overall.

We checked in and immediately faced a $42 valet fee. Then, they charged $100 for incidentals I didn't even use! The bathroom was gross with leftover hair and toothpaste. It was a total letdown, so we left right away!

Traffic noise kept us up all night, even on the top floor. The staff was rude and unhelpful, making the experience worse.

The serene nature and breathtaking views were perfect for family adventures. The kids loved spotting wildlife and my wife enjoyed the fresh air amidst the lush greenery. It was a memorable outdoor experience for all of us.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on my recent stay at the Doubletree. The hotel itself had a modern and trendy decor which I really appreciated. It was clean and smelled nice, which is always a plus. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to many attractions. there were a few things that could have been better. The staff, apart from one friendly valet worker, seemed a bit uninterested and not very welcoming. A friendly smile goes a long way, right? The room itself was not the cleanest initially, with dirty sheets and towels. Housekeeping did come to redo the room promptly when I mentioned this, which was good. I also found the noise from outside to be quite disruptive, as the hotel is close to the street and passing vehicles could be heard all night. Maybe some more insulation would help with that. the lack of certain amenities like a microwave in the room was a bit inconvenient. The Doubletree had its pros and cons.
