the staff at handlery hotel were super friendly and went outta their way to make my family and i feel at home! the pool was nice. We enjoyed some tasty breakfasts, too. we definitely appreciated the free waters in our room, it added a nice touch.

this hotel is a complete disappointment. the pool was overwhelmed with locals, and the hot tub was merely lukewarm bubble water. i almost thought about writing a good review, but then I couldn't get pass the tiny towels that barely dry. worse hotel experience ever.

Ope, the pool was a real highlight! Spent evenings just chillin' by the water. Room was cozy with plenty of cupboard space, which I actually used—what a treat! The staff? Super friendly and helpful. Just wish they had a microwave in the room for late-night snacks. Good coffee maker, though!

i had a lovely stay, enjoying how the hotel is just about a 15-minute walk to the shopping mall where i could hop on the trolley to explore more of the city. It’s close to beautiful places like old town and presidio park where i could take peaceful strolls in nature.

this hotel was such a let down, the room was filthy with spiders and the aromas were just delightful in all the wrong ways. oh, and don’t get me started on the chaotic breakfast service. as a seasoned traveler, i expected at least a complimentary upgrade after such an experience, but clearly, those are for other guests not me.

Parking was convenient with easy access right outside the door, and only $15 a night, which is cheaper than many nearby hotels.

The grounds are not only beautiful but exceptionally well-maintained. Staff responsiveness was impressive, ensuring all needs were promptly met.

The rooms were dated and could use a significant refresh. The fitness center had limited equipment, making it hard to get a proper workout.

Staying at the Handlery was wonderful for our family. The kids loved splashing around in the beautiful pool. We had easy access to the main attractions of San Diego, and the generous complimentary goodies made our visit feel truly special.

The room had a lovely balcony to enjoy sunsets with a drink. ant infestation was gross.

I recently spent three nights here, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic! I loved the well-appointed room, but the bathroom was a bit cramped. Definitely would stay again!
