Empire Lakeshore Inn is a solid choice for a short stay with a great location near Sleeping Bear Dunes. The room was clean and had modern amenities like a fridge and microwave. However, the pillows were too firm for my liking, and there were some noise issues from neighboring rooms. Great for families or anyone exploring the area.

Comfortable beds and a decent location near dunes.

My experience was frustrating from the start. The thermostat and heater were not functioning together. it was chilly when we entered the room, and adjusting the settings seemed useless. Additionally, while I found the room clean, it had several issues, such as tiny bath and cramped bathroom space, not to mention the thin walls, I could hear everything from the adjacent rooms. Overall, for the price I paid, I expected much better service and amenities.

My stay at Empire Lakeshore Inn was quite pleasant. The new part of the inn was impressively clean and well-maintained, and the staff was responsive to my needs. The room featured a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker, which added to my comfort. I also appreciated the proximity to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, making it convenient for my outdoor activities. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily return again.

Very clean and convenient spot for exploring nearby attractions.

During my stay, the noise levels were quite high. I was on the bottom floor, and every footstep above me felt like an earthquake. The sound insulation was poor, making it hard to get a good night's sleep with all the footsteps and conversations from the upper floor. I wish I had requested a room on the top floor beforehand to avoid this issue.

perfect base for exploring sleeping bear dunes and charming trails

My stay was exceptional thanks to the inn being just a short drive away from the stunning sleeping bear dunes visitor center and within walking distance to the beautiful heritage trail where i enjoyed the scenic views while strolling through the area. the staff was super friendly and always ready to help out with local tips and recommendations.

Well, I gotta say, them folks runnin' the place were just as friendly as a summer breeze. Got good directions to local eatin' and a cozy room to rest my head after a day at the beach. Clean as a whistle, and I loved that comfy Keurig tucked in the corner for my morning brew. Real close to them dunes too. Just wished they had a little more breakfast options, but I reckon I’ll bring my own next time. Can't wait to return.

Our room was impeccably clean, and the beds were like fluffy clouds after a long day exploring the nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes. We loved having a Keurig coffee maker to kickstart our mornings, and the convenient microwave and fridge made snacking a breeze. Plus, we were just a quick walk from the charming Empire Beach and local eateries, making it the ultimate base for our adventures!

lekker stay near the dunes! 🌊

We were super stoked with the neat and comfy room! Staff were proper friendly, went out of their way to help us out. The shower was a jol, with plenty hot water after a long day exploring. Perfect spot for some brekkie spots nearby!

Only bummer was that the WiFi was a bit slow, but we managed just fine.
