We stayed at Explorer Rest & Recreation for a weekend trip to Cedar Point. the location was ideal, close to town yet with a lovely green space for our dogs. the room was well-equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and comfy beds. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the retro theme added charm. the facilities manager was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

At my regular spot, staff guided me when I was lost. Wi, Fi, Flat, screen TV, Fishing, and wheelchair access make this cozy spot perfect. With pets allowed, AC, and non, smoking rooms, I keep coming back for break.

During my xmas stay, the newly renovated rooms were clean and cozy, featuring convenient amenities like a fridge and microwave. the hotel's location was perfect, close to town but with a lovely open green space out back that my dogs absolutely adored. the retro theme throughout the property added a fun, unique touch to the overall experience.

It was a bit frustrating that the bed lights were connected to the main light switch, making it difficult to have dim lighting at night. Additionally, the lack of wifi, especially when advertised online, was disappointing.
