The hotel was great value for money with spacious rooms in a rural area, but located conveniently in the valley near a great Italian restaurant. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The view of the mountains from the room was breathtaking and the delicious hot waffles for breakfast were a great start to the day.

All aspects of this hotel were great, no improvements necessary.

The hotel is conveniently located near the entrance of the park, perfect for those ready to start Skyline Drive. It's also close to the area for religious services. The room was clean and had lots of pillows. The breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff was wonderful. The WiFi was fast and free. The view was magnificent, with a lovely lobby area that was inviting and large.

The furnishings were a little dated and in need of an update.

The Fairfield Inn And Suites by Marriott in this rural area is a great choice for those ready to start their adventure on Skyline Drive. Its location right off I-81 makes it convenient to access, without any extra noise. Plus, it's just a short drive to the entrance of the park. The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming, making you feel like old friends. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a lovely mountain view for a picturesque experience. The option of having 2 beds plus a pullout couch is perfect for families. And let's not forget about the breakfast, with delicious hot waffles included to start your day off right.

Felt welcome, and got the great view

During my recent stay at Fairfield Inn, I was delighted to receive a warm welcome from the staff. The room on the 3rd floor exceeded my expectations, offering a stunning view of the mountains. I was impressed by the fresh bedding and towels, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff demonstrated exceptional service, promptly addressing any issues, such as a faulty luggage cart. Additionally, having a restaurant next door serving delicious food at reasonable prices was a definite bonus. I highly recommend this hotel for its welcoming atmosphere and incredible view.

Staff go above & beyond for any request. Front desk greets with a smile anytime. Large, clean room. Great breakfast variety with wonderful kitchen staff. Toilet paper cardboard-like, dryer took 4 cycles to dry.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good, and the server lady was friendly and offered efficient service. The king suite with Mountain View was exceptional, with a balcony that looked out over Signal Knob and the Shenandoah Ridge. We were treated to an amazing sunrise. The hotel is right off the interstate, and the parking was great. The staff was friendly, and the lobby was nice and clean. We also appreciated the "homey" touch of the staff Christmas stockings on the fireplace. Additionally, the hotel's location in a rural area was accessible to everything, including a great restaurant right across the street that served wonderful Italian food, including pizza. our experience at this hotel was excellent.

Our upgraded room had a beautiful balcony view of the mountains. The room was meticulously clean with fresh linens and towels. The breakfast had tasty scrambled eggs and the staff was friendly. Overall I'd recommend this hotel, despite some minor cons.

Great Staff: the staff at this hotel were extremely accommodating and pleasant throughout our entire stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and took care of all our needs. Beautiful View: the view from the balcony rooms was absolutely stunning. We were able to watch a beautiful sunrise right from our balcony. It was definitely worth it for the breathtaking views. Convenient Location: the hotel was located about a 15-20 minute drive to Shenandoah National Park, which was our ultimate destination. Additionally, there were a couple of places to eat within walking distance, which was very convenient.

Unreliable Room Keys: Our room keys were very unreliable and we had to scan them multiple times to get the door to unlock. We even had to get them reprogrammed three times during our stay.

Great location near the highway, making it convenient for a quick overnight stay. the front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating. the room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite with two queen beds. the view from our room was beautiful.

The air conditioner in the room was quite loud and made it difficult to sleep at times. Additionally, housekeeping came in at 8:30 in the morning, even though we were checking out that day.

We spent our New Year's Eve in a hotel conveniently located near the freeway, which made our travels easier. the hotel staff was friendly and helpful towards us every time we interacted with them. We loved the free breakfast and the variety it offered.

We had to deal with a few technical issues in the room. the heating system was making loud noises, and the TV remote wasn't working properly.
