The views from my room were absolutely breathtaking! I loved the spa and wellness center, and the massages left me feeling so refreshed. Plus, the location was perfect—walking distance to everything you need for a great getaway!

Perfectly situated for exploring downtown and nearby attractions

We enjoyed a beautifully clean and spacious room with an incredible view of the Ohio River and were thrilled to find that we could easily walk to so many attractions like the Louisville Slugger Museum and the KFC Yum Center in just a few minutes which made it super convenient during our stay and the food in the hotel’s onsite restaurant was outstanding with a fantastic bourbon selection but I did have some minor issues like needing to call for extra toiletries and figuring out the TV channels.

Pleasant stay with some hiccups

My family and I enjoyed a nice stay at Galt House Hotel. The location was fantastic for downtown attractions, and our room was large and clean. We appreciated the variety at the on-site dining options, although we did encounter some issues with check-in and room preparation.

The view from my room was incredible. The gym is top-notch and the location is perfect for walking to local attractions.

The hallways were ridiculously hot.

The location was fantastic, with everything we wanted to see just a short walk away. The room was spacious and mostly clean, though I found a long black hair in the bathroom, which raised some concerns. The bed was comfortable, but the TV was tricky. Parking felt steep at $20 a day, especially when we're already paying for a room. The food at Walker's Exchange was tasty, particularly the fried green tomatoes. the lack of complimentary water and the aging feel of the hotel left me wanting more. Would I return? Maybe, but with a few reservations.

The breathtaking view of the river and city from our room was simply stunning. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore popular venues, shopping spots, and vibrant nightlife areas. The clean and comfortable room, along with the spacious bathroom, provided a relaxing retreat for the whole family.

My children wished for more family-friendly activities on-site.

I had a blast dining at SWIZZLE with incredible views, indulged in delicious bites at DOWN ONE BOURBON BAR, and explored the amazing toy soldiers at The Stewart Collection. An unforgettable night of dining and dancing under chandeliers!

I loved waiting forever for my car with valet staff leisurely enjoying their lunch break.

We had a wild night after finding our room light looked like it caught fire. The maintenance guy was shocked, and after waiting hours, we ended up moving to a downgraded room. Not the smoothest stay at all.

The double queen room was spacious, which was a plus. it lacked a refrigerator and washcloths, which I found inconvenient. The bed was reasonably comfortable, though the noise level from the hallway was noticeable at times. Temperature control worked well, keeping the room at a pleasant level. The trash cans without liners were odd, as they made waste disposal messy. The restaurant was a highlight with fantastic food, but the unresponsive service was frustrating, especially regarding our dinner reservation. Valet service was efficient, but paying for parking felt like an unavoidable downside.

The hotel has a great pool area and we had fun relaxing by the water with the kids. The staff were friendly and quick to help with any questions we had.

It was pricey but we felt it was worth it for the experience.

Comfy, quiet rooms with a stunning 22nd-floor view. The sunset over the river was remarkable. Don't miss the Swizzle restaurant—an unforgettable dining experience and a vibrant happy hour. Staff friendly, and the atmosphere inviting. poor signage made navigation frustrating, and service at times was lacking. the dining experience should be seamless. A disappointing valet service experience overshadowed the luxury feel. Nevertheless, clean and spacious rooms made for a pleasant stay. With excellent rates, it’s a worthwhile visit—if staff can improve on efficiency and hospitality. There's potential here; it just needs to be harnessed.

Great amenities like free Wi-Fi and pool, but check-in was really slow.

Had a blast at the Jockey Silks bar with great drinks and a fun atmosphere. The bar's service was outstanding too. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to various attractions. Enjoyed the convenience of having the room serviced between nights, adding a nice touch to our stay.

Had some issues with the power going out in the room, and the front desk response was not ideal. Staff could have handled the situation better.
