Yo, the location was spot on for exploring historic Durango! The room was so lekker and had everything we needed. The staff, from check-in to check-out, truly made us feel welcome—they were on the ball! Definitely gonna come back for another stay next time.

Only thing was the breakfast—could've used a bit more variety, but we made it work!

The room was extremely small for the price. The water temperature in the shower was difficult to adjust, which made for an uncomfortable experience. The towels were a little rough, and I wonder how they manage laundry with that level of quality.

The cleanliness of the hotel, from the rooms to the lobby, was commendable, complementing the charming historic decor. Enjoyed the free continental breakfast, which included fresh local coffee and a light egg casserole—perfect for a quick bite. Though the breakfast could offer more variety, the warm hospitality made up for it. A minor downside was the absence of an elevator in the secondary building, which might be inconvenient for some. I would happily return for another visit!

the general palmer has spacious and clean rooms, and the location is perfect—you can walk to shops and restaurants easily. the friendly staff always offered us tea and cookies in the lobby, which was such a nice touch. it really made us feel welcome and at home during our stay.

Absolutely adored the beautifully restored Victorian style and that charming old elevator! The location was spot on for exploring, and my room had such lovely furnishings—it squealed history!

However, hauling my bags up the stairs was less 'charming' and more 'cardio workout'. And don't even get me started on that elevator—it felt like I was auditioning for a stunt show!
