The location right on the beach was perfect, even though our balcony view was partially obstructed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the lack of outdoor shower for sandy feet. Will definitely return!

I recently stayed at Golden Sands Oceanfront Hotel in Carolina Beach for a business trip, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel. The 113-room Carolina Beach Hotel offers a serene and peaceful ambiance with two pools, an expansive pier, and plenty of white sand beach to enjoy. The breathtaking ocean views from the hotel create a tranquil and rejuvenating atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both business and leisure travelers. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property left me very impressed.

Refrigerator was not very cold.

We loved the balcony with the stunning views of the ocean. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower was very messy. Despite these small drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

The room at Golden Sands Oceanfront was spacious, clean, and had a stunning ocean view directly from the property. the presence of a small fridge and microwave was convenient. the resort's own boardwalk leading to the beach was a fantastic feature for easy access. the pricing was reasonable and the overall experience was enjoyable for a beach getaway.

The tiki bar by the pier and nearby attractions like Ocean Front Park and the Carolina Beach Boardwalk added to our family bonding experience. The room separation was excellent for our group.

Dive into the fresh salads and tantalizing local nosh like Pop's Frozen Custard. The Tiki Bar is a beachside gem, and staff ace the hospitality game. The rooms are clean and cozy.

Only downside? The trek to the boardwalk, about a mile out, can be a sandy slog.

The staff welcomed me with a cold drink on my first hot day. This place suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a seasonal outdoor pool. I appreciate the flat-screen TV, beach access, and non-smoking rooms. I'll be back for Easter.

Loved the beachfront location and two chill pools with a cool tiki bar for drinks🍹. The staff was quick in fixing little hiccups, like missing a hairdryer. Wish the shower pressure was stronger, but overall, great vibes, cozy rooms, and chill staff made for a chill stay at a beachy spot away from the hectic Boardwalk.
