The location is fantastic, with easy beach access and nearby restaurants. Parking is a bit of a hassle, around a 5-minute walk. Pool area is nice, but the toilets could use better maintenance. it was a decent stay for the beach activities.

Stunning ocean view and a spacious balcony made mornings magical. The bed was comfortable enough, though not a luxury mattress. Enjoyed the friendly staff, especially when they helped retrieve my jewelry after leaving it behind. On the downside, the room was a bit outdated, and the cleaning service was haphazard, moving personal items randomly. The pool looked inviting but was too chilly for a dip in late September. Be prepared for noise from the nearby bar, but once the door's shut, it’s manageable. Perfect for adults; kids might find it lacking in activities.

Comfortable stay with great staff

I had a wonderful time at Surfbreak Virginia Beach. The staff, especially Natalie at the front desk, were attentive and helpful. My room had a lovely balcony to enjoy the ocean's sound. the view was partially obstructed, and the pool was unexpectedly closed.

Great location and awesome view! Rooms were super comfy with nice beds, and we loved the balcony. Joshua and ShaNa were super helpful. Shower needed some cleaning, and only one elevator was working, so sometimes we had to wait. But the beach chairs and sun umbrellas were a nice touch. Loved it!

Omg the location was amazing right on the boardwalk/beach front! the room overlooked the pool with a great ocean view. Although the room had a slight odor, the staff was understanding. Unfortunately, housekeeping wasn't up to par. 😞

I couldn’t believe how loud the music was! We were kept up until 3 AM, with the bass shaking the walls. The staff didn’t care at all when I complained. It felt more like a party scene than a hotel.

The updated bathroom was another highlight, clean and modern. room 316 had some drawbacks; the balcony offered a restricted view due to utilities on the roof. The smell from the nearby restaurant was also noticeable when the balcony door was open. While most staff were friendly and helpful, some room amenities like Wi-Fi were lacking. the room had potential, but a few aspects could use improvement for a more enjoyable stay.

Amazing beachfront access and close to everything you need

I loved how I could easily stroll along the boardwalk or beach just steps from my room, and with attractions like the Virginia Beach Oceanfront just 500 meters away and the Surf & Rescue Museum only about 1.5 km away, it was perfect for daytime exploring; the hotel also has a great pool and a restaurant with delicious food options, but the room could definitely use some updates.
