Charming old hotel with character

Love the setting! Nestled in a state park, it's got this beautiful, classic vibe. The staff is super friendly and helpful, really makes you feel welcomed. Enjoyed morning walks in the park and the shuttle to the track was a big plus. Just wished there was coffee in the lobby; that'd enhance the vibe for sure.

The value for money was great, especially because we got a lovely room with a king-size bed for a little extra. The location was perfect, surrounded by a beautiful state park, and the staff treated us with great attentiveness and helpfulness.

The breakfast offerings could have been better, with more variety and options.

We loved the fantastic park setting with beautiful views and bike routes. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, with fluffy towels and comfortable beds. The staff was top notch and made our stay perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the shuttle service was convenient.

The value for money at this charming, historic hotel was excellent, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, with beautiful grounds and the convenience of a shuttle to downtown and the track. The staff treated us like VIPs, especially Ron, Pete, and the attentive dining room staff. we loved our stay and felt right at home.

We had a great time at this resort. the location was perfect and the staff were very nice. the shuttle into town was really handy, and there was ample parking on the beautiful grounds. Our room was perfect, the best we've ever had there. the restaurant food and service were excellent, and we even took the bikes for a spin. a great experience.

I recently stayed at the charming Gideon Putnam Resort & Spa for a weekend getaway. The complimentary shuttle made it easy to explore downtown and enjoy the local restaurants. Another bonus was the complimentary bus to the Saratoga Race Course. The location of the hotel is fantastic, nestled in a beautiful park. In the morning, I loved waking up to coffee and newspapers. The staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to provide a hospitable experience. The grounds are absolutely stunning and worth taking the time to explore. The hotel features a great room with historical information and the artwork throughout the property is lovely.

Would recommend this hotel.

my recent stay in saratoga springs was a disappointment, but Gideon Putnam Resort & Spa exceeded my expectations during this romantic trip. the beautiful lobby decor, well-kept grounds, and helpful front desk staff made our stay enjoyable.

What a fantastic start to the new year! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm and friendly staff at the front desk. the history of this place is truly remarkable, and it adds a special charm to the overall experience. the location is so convenient, especially if you're a golf enthusiast. the golf course nearby offers a great opportunity to enjoy the sport amidst stunning surroundings. And speaking of stunning, the spa at the hotel deserves a special mention. It was pure bliss to indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment after a long day of exploring.

Situated in a beautiful park among pine trees, guests at this hotel can take nice walks or runs on the paths through the park. Adjacent to the hotel is an excellent coffee shop called Wired and it is also located near a race track and SPAC. The staff is warm and welcoming and the room is comfortable, including a pleasant bathroom.

Some guests might find the decor in need of updating.

We loved staying in this beautiful hotel located inside a park of pine trees. The service was impeccable, with friendly and knowledgeable staff at the reception desk, and amenities like room service, dry cleaning, shuttle service and bicycle hire. The room was well-appointed with tea and coffee facilities, ironing facilities, and garden furniture. We also enjoyed the spa and wellness centre, complete with sauna, outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. this place provided fantastic leisure amenities.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were reasonable and the quality exceeded our expectations. We didn't feel the need to go anywhere else for meals or drinks because everything was well-priced and of good quality.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.
