Not great sleep due to train noise.

Consider asking for a room away from the train tracks if you are sensitive to noise, as they can be disruptive at night.

The room was cramped with zero space for luggage!!! How about adding surfaces for reading or writing? And what's with the musty odor? A coffee and tea station would also boost convenience for guests!!!

The breakfast was a delightful family-style affair, featuring homemade pancakes and crispy bacon that fueled our adventures throughout the day.

The trains were certainly a nuisance at night, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful sleep, so consider asking for a room farther from the tracks.

absoluteley disappointed. the bed was so soft, it felt like sinking into quicksand, and don’t even get me started on the threadbare sheets—so embarrassing! i nearly expected a welcome gift for such an inconvenience. i almost considered giving a good review, but how could i? this was definitely not the experience i expected, that’s for sure.

We had a lovely stay, the breakfast was incredible and the antiques around made it feel cozy, but the trains were louder than expected! I would definitely return!

Major improvements needed!!! Complete lack of air conditioning, malfunctioning TV, and locked windows were frustrating. Additionally, housekeeping was non-existent, and we ended up taking out our own trash!!! The back deck was unsightly and littered with bird feces!!! Parking situation was a puzzling dilemma for guests.

The location was perfect for exploring Mammoth Caves! 🗺️ We loved the charming antiques and cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was generous and delicious! The staff was super helpful, sharing rich stories about the area's history. Loved every minute! !

Nothing to fault.

This place suits me perfectly with its free Wi-Fi, cozy picnic area, flat-screen TVs, and adults-only policy. On my first stay, the staff helped me with currency tips, which I still appreciate. I highly recommend it for a relaxing weekend getaway!

We loved our stay! The owners were super accommodating, even making us a tasty breakfast that fit our diet. The decor is full of beautiful old pieces that give it such character. Just wish the dining area had a better variety for breakfast choices. Also, those trains can be a bit loud at night, so plan for that!

The Deluxe Queen Room was cozy, with super comfy pillows, which is a rare find! I loved the neat Victorian-style furniture that added character. The small TV had good reception, and the room was clean. However, I wasn't a fan of that Victorian decor, but I get why others love it. Just a heads up, it's a bit close to train tracks, so you might hear some noise at night. Overall, a nice stay while visiting Mammoth Cave!
