great location and awesome breakfast

We loved the view from our room and the breakfast was a hit with the kids. The pool was fun, although it could've been cleaner. The staff at check-in was friendly and helped us out with a room issue. Just a bummer about the room needing a bit more attention and some noisy guests outside.

Location is fantastic - just a block from the beach and near restaurants and bus station. Hotel is in a safe and quiet alley. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. They stored our bags and provided a shower room before our bus journey. Rooms are clean and have heavy blankets for extra comfort. The owner is extremely welcoming, accommodating, and hospitable. He even walked with us to catch our bus.

Not obvious to find.

I had a great stay at a good value! The room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect for what I needed, with Kennywood nearby, and there were plenty of food and shopping options in the area.

During our romantic escape, we really enjoyed the convenient location of the hotel. It was surrounded by a variety of restaurants, making it easy for us to find a delicious meal without having to travel far. Additionally, the hotel was situated close to the city, allowing us to easily explore and experience all that it had to offer. Another advantage we loved was the friendly and polite staff. They were always willing to help and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

There were some aspects of our stay that we didn't particularly enjoy. the noise levels at night were quite disruptive, with kids running up and down the halls and yelling past 11 PM. Additionally, we received a late-night phone call from the front desk asking about the air-conditioner, which woke us up unnecessarily.

Location was perfect, close to stores and restaurants in the Waterfront. Friendly staff and clean lobby. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with good variety. Enjoyed sitting outside by the firepit along the river.

Difficult exiting hotel parking during the day due to no stop signs or lights nearby. Indoor pool was slightly cold.

Nothing it is perfect.

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites in Pittsburgh for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly, and every employee we encountered during our stay was also very friendly. The room was clean and well-maintained, and we loved the view of the river from our room. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping, movies, and restaurants. The breakfast selection was decent, with plenty of options for everyone, and there was always coffee, tea. it was a great stay and we will definitely be returning next month.

I was in town to visit Kennywood and the location was perfect. The staff was friendly and helped us with a room issue. The room itself was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. The complimentary coffee and breakfast were a nice bonus too. We also loved the nearby Burgatory restaurant and the Waterfront development with its variety of dining and shopping options.

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn Pittsburgh Waterfront West on a trip to pick up my son from college. The staff members were incredibly friendly and check-in and check-out were a breeze. The rooms were spacious and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. I loved waking up to the beautiful view of the river and the trail next to the hotel was a nice bonus. The location was also convenient, with shopping, restaurants, and the university of Pittsburgh nearby.
