Hotel's historical charm was delightful despite some noise issues.

Staff was friendly and greeted us with champagne, which was a lovely touch. We noticed some noise from deliveries, which interrupted our stay.

the hotel has potential with its cool department store vibes, but the staff? disengaged, and rude, really sets the mood wrong. plus, i was practically begging for someone to retrieve my car at the valet—how hard can it be? as a guest i expected at least a complimentary snack, but alas, nothing. really disappointing, almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

We love the hotel's charming 1920s decor and its prime location. Being in the heart of downtown allowed us easy access to shops and restaurants, making our two-day stay effortless. Our room was spacious, with a lovely view and comfortable beds.

Our only downside was occasional noise disturbances from nearby guests.

I absolutely adored my stay in the Superior King Suite with Sofa Bed! The room was ultra-spacious, allowing for plenty of room to relax and unwind after exploring downtown Asheville. Plus, the jacuzzi tub was a luxurious treat that made my stay even more enjoyable!

I wished for a bit more energy during check-in. The location was unbeatable—right downtown, which made exploring food and shops so easy. Our suite was spacious with a nostalgic charm, though some bathrooms felt a bit outdated and could use some freshening up.

The hotel is right in the heart of Asheville, perfect for checking out all the local spots. We enjoyed a live jazz performance at a nearby venue, and my teenagers loved exploring the eclectic shops just a short walk away. The decor brought a unique old-world charm.

My kids wished the breakfast options had more choices for picky eaters.

The room was spacious and felt luxurious, like we were in a suite! I loved having a coffee machine right there. The layout was a bit odd, but the comfy beds made up for it. Plus, the large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub? Total win! Just wish it had a cozier vibe instead of all the hard surfaces. Definitely a fun stay.
