The Holiday Inn at the National Mall is an excellent choice for a family stay in Washington. The hotel's central location allowed us to easily visit iconic sites such as the World War II Memorial and paddle boating at the Tidal Basin. The diverse range of event venues provided an ideal setting for our family gatherings and special celebrations amidst a unique historical backdrop.

My kids wished for a designated play area within the hotel premises for some additional family fun during our stay.

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Holiday Inn in Washington. The hotel was perfect for our family trip to explore the museums. Our room on the 2nd floor was private and quiet, with a pleasant garden view. The beds were comfortable, and the in-room amenities were good. We also saved money by using the parking lot across the street. Plus, being in walking distance from the mall, we had a variety of food trucks to choose from for lunch during weekdays.

As adventure travelers, we loved the convenient location near the Mall with all the museums and the subway stop on the corner. The comfortable room and bed, along with the excellent shower head, made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the mask mandate and enforcement during these times.
