The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool area is large and there are even swim-to hot tubs.

Additionally, the staff was very attentive and provided quick and professional service. Moreover, the location of the hotel was convenient, with a free shuttle that offered a quick 5-minute ride to the airport. This made it easy to explore the beautiful island of Kauai and all it has to offer.

It seemed old and tired, with a strange mixture of styles that didn't quite come together. The Asian art and statues clashed with the supposed homage to Hawaiian culture, resulting in a confusing aesthetic.

I recently stayed at The Royal Sonesta in Lihue for a week-long vacation. The hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First off, the pool was absolutely amazing! They had multiple jacuzzis and plenty of sun loungers available. It was so much fun to swim at night, as the pool stays open until 10pm. The beach access was also great, and there were several restaurants within walking distance. The room itself was fantastic, with a lovely balcony and a luxurious bathroom. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the TV had Netflix, and the hotel shop had everything I needed. The free airport shuttle was a nice touch, and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. it was an amazing hotel experience.
