The delicious breakfast spread was a true highlight, with my kids loving every bite. Our 2 Queen suite was perfect for our family of six, clean and comfy, making it a great base for our Chico adventure.

However, the coffee situation was a bit of a letdown. only one pod per person just didn't cut it. Plus, the lighting in the bathroom and entry area wasn’t inviting—it felt like more design and less cozy vibe, as that bathroom door had a mind of its own, closing on us!

Chico's culinary vibe is incredible! I feasted on some phenomenal grilled meats nearby—definitely a hidden gem! Plus, the breakfast was delightful despite the chaotic closure timing, and the staff at the front desk were a pleasure to deal with. Clean and fresh hotel overall, too.

Just one tiny hiccup, the bed sheets could've been cleaner—hairs and stains weren’t the best surprise.

The outside designated smoking area is uncomfortably close to the front door!!! Housekeeping could absolutely be more thorough—attention to used coffee pods and spills in the room would make a difference!!! A little freshness in room refreshes is crucial!!!

I woke up each morning to the rich aroma of breakfast wafting from the dining area. The indoor pool was a perfect escape after a long day of exploring, and the friendly staff always made us feel at home. Parking was a breeze, especially being able to keep an eye on our car out the window.

The only minor hiccup was a few trash cans in the hallways that weren't emptied in the morning, which felt a little odd. Luckily, it didn’t affect our overall experience, but keeping common areas tidy would enhance the stay.

my recent stay for a wedding in chico was fantastic. the complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, featuring a variety of options and fresh eggs that actually tasted good. the staff was attentive and made check-in a breeze, truly exceeding my expectations at this hotel.

My experience at the Holiday Inn Express was incredibly frustrating. After checking out, I was supposed to receive my incidentals deposit back, but it’s now been fifteen days with no sign of it. Additionally, I found the staff’s lack of training in hospitality disappointing, as they appeared unhelpful when I brought up concerns about noise from a nearby speedway and had no real solutions to offer.

Breakfast was very good quality and selection. The design of the building felt open and welcoming. Staff were attentive during check-in and were friendly while interacting with my granddaughter. I appreciated the comfort of the Executive King Room I stayed in. Clean and modern vibe throughout.
