The location of this hotel is fantastic. There are shops and restaurants right next door, and the Kenmore Station is just steps away, connecting you to the rest of the city with ease. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to go above and beyond for guests. The rooms are updated and clean, with luxurious skincare products and blackout curtains for a great night's sleep.

The hotel does not offer its own restaurant for dining, which could pose an issue for guests who want a sit-down meal on the property.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The location was great for exploring Boston, with convenient access to public transportation. The spacious bathroom and comfortable bed with fresh linen made for a pleasant stay. There were also plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby to enjoy.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money that this hotel offered. With its prime location, just steps away from Fenway Park and local colleges, it proved to be a convenient choice for exploring the area. The surrounding Commonwealth Avenue provided a delightful setting for leisurely walks, and the nearby subway entrance made it easy to hop around town.

Despite a generally positive experience, there were a few minor hiccups that could be improved upon.

Great location near subway, comfortable room, friendly staff at reception. Fenway within walking distance, no need to drive and pay for parking. No breakfast eaten. Clean and comfy room, annoyance over missing fruit cup, responsive staff offered alternative and good customer service. Fabulous decor, immaculate, friendly and helpful staff. Great dining options, thoroughly enjoyed stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Commonwealth for a weekend getaway in Boston. The Fenway View Room had an amazing view of the stadium, which was especially cool during a Red Sox game. The poker chips for coffee and muffins were a nice touch, and the bellmen were polite and helpful. The location was perfect, with easy access to Fenway, Boston University, and Newbury Street. The fitness room had well-maintained equipment and the spacious room fulfilled all my requests. The heavenly beds and divine bathrooms added to the overall pleasant experience. Cleanliness: The hotel was extremely clean. Location: Very close to attractions and in close proximity to Red Sox stadium with other attractions nearby. Transportation: The T station was steps away, making it easy to travel anywhere in the city without a car. Staff: The staff was wonderful and extremely friendly.

I got great value for my money at Hotel Commonwealth. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the T and well-lit streets. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The room smelled exceptionally clean and had great amenities, like an iPad for setting the alarm. The Island Creek Oyster Bar restaurant had delicious lobster rolls and clam chowder at a reasonable price. The attached bar and restaurant had a great selection, and the bartender, Sebastian, was passionate and fun. The location was also great, with easy access to museums and Fenway Park.
