Great location and spacious rooms

Loved how clean and spacious our junior suite was! Super close to Boston University and Fenway, which was a huge plus. The staff were super nice, and that white-noise machine helped with road noise. Just wish the pillows didn’t smell kinda funky. had some trouble with the light switches not turning on.

Our visit to this hotel was marked by the unique 'service' mentality that ensured every request was promptly and graciously fulfilled, making our family holiday party a resounding success. The Kenmore Square location offered unparalleled signature views, perfect for wowing guests with its park like none other - a place where "baseball is forever".

My wife says that a dedicated kids' play area would have been great.

The hotel's elegant decor made me feel like I was staying in a grand old mansion, with beautiful photo montages that showcased Boston University's vibrant culture. The general areas were spacious and easily accessible for senior people, allowing me to move around comfortably and enjoy the hotel's charm. The location was perfect for seniors, as it was within walking distance to Fenway, Berklee School of Music, and Newbury Street, making it easy to explore the city without any hassle or inconvenience.

I would ask for better vacation accessibility for senior people, perhaps with more seating areas in the lobby or additional resting spots throughout the hotel. This would be beneficial for the children of the staff and me, giving us more opportunities to relax and take a break while exploring the hotel's lovely surroundings.

During my transit in Boston, I stayed at Hotel Commonwealth and was impressed by its convenience. The hotel is merely a 10-minute walk from Beacon Street and a 5-minute walk from Kenmore, making it easy to explore the city. the proximity of the hotel to Logan Airport, which is only 10 km away, was extremely convenient for my travel plans.

The only minor downside of my stay was the noise level in the area surrounding the hotel. While the hotel itself was peaceful, the nearby presence of noisy guests and the lively atmosphere in the neighborhood affected my overall stay.

The staff printed my tickets, and it stuck with me. It has everything I need: luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar/lounge, and a fitness center. I always return, and I'm coming back for New Year!

The location of this hotel is fantastic. There are shops and restaurants right next door, and the Kenmore Station is just steps away, connecting you to the rest of the city with ease. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to go above and beyond for guests. The rooms are updated and clean, with luxurious skincare products and blackout curtains for a great night's sleep.

The hotel does not offer its own restaurant for dining, which could pose an issue for guests who want a sit-down meal on the property.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The location was great for exploring Boston, with convenient access to public transportation. The spacious bathroom and comfortable bed with fresh linen made for a pleasant stay. There were also plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby to enjoy.

An upscale Rock' n Roll retro suite that pays homage to Kenmore Square's iconic past and the underground music venue known as “ The Rat ”, was a delightful surprise. The room was a perfect blend of retro and modern, with quirky decor and all the amenities one could wish for, making our stay truly unique and enjoyable.

Neighbourhood safety concerns.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money that this hotel offered. With its prime location, just steps away from Fenway Park and local colleges, it proved to be a convenient choice for exploring the area. The surrounding Commonwealth Avenue provided a delightful setting for leisurely walks, and the nearby subway entrance made it easy to hop around town.

Despite a generally positive experience, there were a few minor hiccups that could be improved upon.

My stay at Hotel Commonwealth was enjoyable for the most part. The "Fenway view" room I had may have overlooked the highway with Fenway Park behind it, but the natural light it provided was outstanding. the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and after my third night, they upgraded me to high-speed wireless internet, which was greatly appreciated. The room itself was spacious, with a large bathroom and a cozy living area, making my stay quite comfortable.

There was a discrepancy in the cleanliness, and the room looked older than what was depicted online. the breakfast options were a bit underwhelming, especially the overbaked bread.
