It was our second trip in a month and we loved the unique features of the hotel, including the beautiful view from our room and the charming patio. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, and we were the only ones using it during our stay. The hotel's history is fascinating, and we enjoyed exploring the local architecture and murals in the downtown area. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful, and the spa and gym were great amenities.

We loved being close to bars and restaurants, and the fact that the hotel was just off the highway made it easy to get around and see everything. The service was top-notch, with room service, laundry, and shuttle service all included. We even got a welcome drink and tours/ticket assistance upon arrival. The room itself was amazing with great amenities like air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar. We loved the staff who made a custom drink to match our request.

During my New Year stay, I really enjoyed the two free drinks at the hotel bar. the location of the hotel was also perfect, with many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. the comfortable bed in the room was another highlight that ensured a good night's sleep.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I disliked. the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par, as I noticed rust marks on the shower door.

This place is stunning, with a perfect location downtown. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The helpful staff made our stay even better.

I had an amazing weekend stay at the Julien in Dubuque! The historical charm of the hotel truly transported me back in time. The classic finish of the rooms is impressive, with functional equipment and nice bathrobes. The omelet station breakfast on Sundays is included in the rate and is definitely worth trying!
