This hotel is in a great central location, within easy reach of all the sights in a nice area of the city. The rooms are comfortable, with some nice touches and always kept clean. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing basic amenities and ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast, although not included in my rate, offers quite a few options, including healthy choices.

Maid service could be more considerate, but overall, all was ok.

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, we felt like VIPs. The staff greeted us warmly and even helped us with our bags. The historical architecture of the hotel was stunning and the decor inside was elegant and tasteful. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The amenities provided were top-notch, including a coffee machine and a kitchenette. The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing in the city, and we were within walking distance of many attractions. The highlight of our stay was the Sunday breakfast at the in-house Cafe Lombardy. The food was absolutely superb and we couldn't resist going back for more on Monday. our stay at Hotel Lombardy was exceptional and we highly recommend it.

We loved the vintage charm of Lombardy, with its 1920s feel and shutter-type door. The King Suite was perfect for our family, with a comfortable bed and a small ante-room with amenities like a sink, fridge, and breakfast table. The windows opened for fresh air, and the ceiling fan balanced out the AC unit nicely. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right from the moment we arrived. The location was ideal, only a 15-minute walk from the White House and close to the Metro for easy access to other attractions. There were also plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops in the area, catering to different price ranges. the vibe of the hotel and the surrounding area was excellent, with the nearby presence of George Washington University adding to the atmosphere.

We felt happy about our stay at Lombardy and had no complaints at all.

The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the city, with a Metro stop and Circulator bus route nearby, as well as several cafes and restaurants. The service was outstanding, with staff taking pride in maintaining a clean and well-taken care of environment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with well-sized mini-fridges and plenty of closet space.

Despite the hotel being well-maintained, one minor negative was a lack of feather pillows, with the supplied pillows being hard or lumpy according to one guest's review.

The service and staff are excellent, and the rooms come with a comfortable and extra-large bed, chair, robe, and mirror. The breakfast is included and has quite a few options with healthy choices available.

The a la carte breakfast was lovely and the big desk in my room was ideal to work in. The hotel is located in a safe and clean area within walking distance of good eating areas and fairly close to the metro underground. The classic look of the hotel is comforting and it seems like their employees have been there for a long time, they know the hotel and the surrounding area well.

The hotel is a bit old and has its quirks, such as doors being difficult to open. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a bigger room with 2 double beds, which didn't sit right with us as a couple on a honeymoon and had to ask for a downgrade. The reception wasn't helpful when we asked for a 4.30 am taxi for airport pick up, causing panic the next morning. Night reception was unresponsive and offered no assistance.
