The hotel is situated in a bustling area near shops, transport links and the Tenderloin district, with plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms are modern and comfortable, with quick elevators and a Starbucks on site. However, the petite queen room is very cramped and overpriced at $320 per night. The friendly staff do their best, but the lack of space and mediocre breakfast left me underwhelmed.

The hotel is starting to show its age, with stained rugs and a broken toilet in my room. There was no business center available, which was inconvenient.

The lobby bar doesn't turn into a nightclub - great for a light sleeper. Exceptional room on the Imperial Floor with fantastic views and comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet in Anzu restaurant is extensive and includes both American and Asian options. Perfect service from staff, addressing guests by name.

Plus, the hotel was very accessible for older folks, with spacious elevators and well-maintained corridors that were easy to navigate.

I wish the children of the staff could provide more guidance on places of interest for seniors in the area.
