The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy, with friendly and understanding staff. the bed in the room was tidy and comfortable. the hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.

The bathroom was in need of a deep cleaning, with mold and worn caulking. the front door had worn weather stripping.

We loved that we could park right outside our door and that the room was spacious, clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. As bike riders, we appreciated the convenient location near downtown. The outdoor pool was clean and well-maintained, providing a private and pretty setting. We were also pleased to find that there were not many rooms available due to the ongoing cherry festival, making our stay more peaceful. The staff was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in feedback to improve their service in the future.

They had delicious cinnamon rolls, high quality protein bars, yogurt, and juice. The staff was kind and the check-in process was smooth. The location was perfect, as we were ready to go the next day and explore the vibrant downtown area.

My friends and I had a blast in Traverse City, hitting up Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf and shredding the slopes at the nearby ski area. We even planned our escapades using the free Wi-Fi. Plus, the hotel's proximity to Great Lakes Children's Museum and Centre Ice Arena made it super convenient for us to have a great time.

We would've appreciated more nightlife options nearby for a better party scene.

Staying here feels like home. The first time, the staff helped with my heavy baggage. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, fitness center, and breakfast. I'm coming back for Christmas. Great place!

I stayed at Howard Johnson for a couple of nights for leisure. The location was perfect, right by downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the bag breakfast they provided, which included a selection of muffins, Danish pastries, protein bars, yogurts. The shower was great, and the swimming pool, although closed due to the season, looked inviting. The greenery around the hotel was a nice touch, and I even spotted some ducks near the water.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
