The location of this hotel was perfect for my overnight stay. I was able to easily visit the Ringling Museum, explore the town square, and even head to the beautiful beaches of this city. Additionally, there were plenty of dining options nearby, including some great Black-owned establishments. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the hotel facilities, especially the pool, and the fact that there was a bar and snacks available in the lobby. Lastly, the hotel provided great wifi, which was a bonus.

Although there was an issue with the leaking shower base mentioned in the reviews, I had no problems with it during my stay. The TV channel selection was excellent. The Hyatt Place Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch had comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, and a spacious breakfast area. The staff had a good service attitude and readily resolved any issues. The hotel also had a large parking lot and amenities like a coffee machine and working desk in the rooms.
