We definitely got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views of the marina. The location was perfect, with a nice nearby boardwalk and a balcony overlooking the pool where we could see families having a blast on the slides. The staff, especially the concierge, were incredibly helpful, kind, and full of knowledge about the area.

Liked/Best aspects:. Had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the marina and offering a straight shot out to the water. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the key location of the hotel, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. The restaurant on-site had great service and we enjoyed listening to the live music by the fire while feeling the warm breeze.

Disliked/Worst aspects:. However, there were a couple of downsides to our stay. The room was quite noisy, with sounds from outside constantly disturbing our sleep. The resort and parking fees, along with the taxes, were quite expensive and added a significant amount to our bill. The pool was crowded during the day, making it difficult to fully enjoy the facilities. Additionally, the bed was not very comfortable, which affected our overall sleep quality.

The breakfast @ the Red Marlin was amazing. The pools and slides were fantastic! Your valet and bell staff were excellent! The pelican food and drinks were outstanding. The activities were so much fun for our kids. Very family friendly!!! Excellent location near Mission Bay and Beach - just a short walk to Belmont Park.

The free use of kayaks and paddleboards was a nice perk. The location near the water and a nearby roller coaster made it a fun spot. The pools were fantastic!

The noise from the elevators next to our room was disruptive and made it hard to sleep at night. Additionally, the daily parking fee felt steep and should have been included in our stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this place! The hotel's location on the Marina in Mission Bay was breathtaking, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay here. The staff here went above-and-beyond to help us with a few of our requests, from the front desk to the management. The service and courteous service we received here were unparalleled.

I had a pleasant stay at Hyatt Regency thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. The updated and modern room decor made me feel right at home. The location near the airport, beaches, harbor, La Jolla, and Convention Center was convenient for exploring. The gym, with its harbor view and filtered water source, was a great amenity. Despite a few minor inconveniences, overall I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location right on the marina, providing stunning views and easy access to Belmont Shores and SeaWorld. The room is well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The service is always friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is delicious and varied. Guests will also enjoy the pool area, which is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained.

This hotel had a great location right on the bay with a huge marina. We stayed in a room with a beautiful view of the water and two queen beds with our 2 kids. Breakfast was included and at very reasonable prices.
