My husband and I traveled all the way from overseas for a 20h flight to California and stayed at Inn At Schoolhouse Creek in Mendocino. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, with must-try dishes like the Big River potato waffles and the Racheros. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making us feel cozy and snug. The staff, especially Kevin and Sandy, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, even preparing a bottle of sparkling cider for our baby moon. The location, patio view, and dog-friendly atmosphere were also outstanding features of the inn.

I had a wonderful stay at Inn at Schoolhouse Creek. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating when my husband and I arrived late. Our Garden Cottage was beautifully secluded, with a relaxing jacuzzi tub and a comfortable bed. The breakfast at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, especially the granola. And the highlight was definitely the tandem massages in the yurt, which were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this charming hotel for a special stay on the Mendocino Coast.
