Here, I could get everything I needed for making my stay comfortable like ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and an in-room safe. Nothing, all was good.
I recently stayed at the stunning Mark Hopkins hotel for a few days while exploring the city. The beds and room were incredibly comfortable, and the location was just perfect! Situated on top of Nob Hill, it felt safe and secluded while still being close to Union Square. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Top of the Mark restaurant offered breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, especially at sunset. The room with two double beds was spacious and inviting, and the breakfast menu had a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruit and hot dishes. a fantastic experience!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
Retro setup, Christmas decorations, Bay and Downtown views. Highly recommend for environment and ambience. Will stay again. Great location for our plans. Comfortable bed, clean room. Helpful and professional staff. Friendly doorman. Game at lobby for kids. Valley parking available. Splurged for 1st anniversary, higher floor with view. Friendly and accommodating staff, provided celebration surprises.
Stellar accommodations, professional staff, phenomenal breakfast, lovely birthday surprise, great location, elegant hotel, fabulous rooftop bar.
As a business traveler, I really appreciated the excellent location of the hotel. It was centrally located in the lovely Knob Hill area, with dramatic views in every direction. The California Street cable car was right outside the front door, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel's proximity to Chinatown, Union Square, Polk Street, and North Beach was a major plus. It was safe to walk out at night, and if I didn't feel like walking uphill, taxis were inexpensive. The hotel also had a beautiful lobby and all the amenities I needed in my room.
Felt cozy, no complaints whatsoever.
This place is located at the top of a big hill in the Nob Hill area, which offers stunning views of the city. It is conveniently close to many attractions, including Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel offers excellent service with amenities such as room service, dry cleaning, and a bell staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is gorgeous. The staff goes above and beyond to make each breakfast an unforgettable experience. The in-room amenities, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar, add to the convenience and comfort of the stay. The Top of The Mark, the cocktail lounge on the top floor, is a must-visit, especially at sunset.
I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Great central location near tourist attractions, comfortable and clean rooms, with good amenities including a coffee maker and capsules. Superb views from some rooms, and delicious American breakfast available at an extra price. a recommended place to stay for travelers looking for value.
The hotel's location atop a very steep hill is impressive, with great transport links to many attractions. The staff were attentive and the rooms with double beds had very good amenities.
All was ok.
The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to key attractions and beautiful views from the hills. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the concierge who provided excellent service. The lobby was beautiful and well-maintained.
The rooms were old-fashioned and in need of updating. Some rooms were noisy due to traffic and tram outside. Additionally, parking at the hotel was quite expensive. Staff attitudes varied, with some being less pleasant than others. The hotel's location on top of a hill made it cumbersome for walking to and from the hotel.
The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The rooms were spotless and the food was delicious. Additionally, I loved the fact that the hotel was located in walking distance to everything, including great shopping, and had amazing views of the city.
The valet parking service was outrageously expensive, and the breakfast lacked options. I found the breakfast only had a buffet-style option, and there were no a la carte choices available unless via room service which came at an additional cost. though, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with both good and not-so-great aspects.
This hotel is located in a great area, on top of a very steep hill, offering a nice view out over the city. The staff here are very professional and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with attention to detail and basic amenities provided.
Room service could be improved.
Great hotel with a prime location and stunning views. The room was comfortable, clean, and had an amazing view of the city. The staff provided fast service and made us feel welcome. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the hotel's restaurant. a highly recommended stay at Intercontinental.
Located atop a hill, this hotel is surrounded by high-end shopping areas and many famous landmarks. The cable car is a short walk away, making it easy to travel to the bay. The comfortable rooms and top-notch service exceeded my expectations. The breakfast buffet had an impressive selection, including coffee and tea machines in-room. The stunning views of the city from the rooms left us in awe.
The elevator wait times were occasionally long.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, from the concierge to the bell hops. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with two double beds. The hotel's location on Nob Hill provided a great view of the city. It was close to all the tourist spots, including the cable car for easy transportation to the bay. The breakfast had a large menu with lots of options, including fresh fruit and hot dishes. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation options, and friendly staff made this a wonderful experience.
Nothing to mention.
