Staying at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco, conveniently located in the popular downtown area, was ideal for my transit needs, as the hotel is just a 20-minute walk from F Market Street Car and a 10-minute walk from Powell Street. the hotel provided easy access to San Francisco International, being only 25 km away.

Despite the convenient location, I experienced some minor inconveniences during my stay, such as the lack of a tea/coffee maker in the room. However, this didn't detract from the overall positive experience.

The Intercontinental Mark Hopkins impressed me with its convenient location in San Francisco Downtown and the stunning views from the reception rooms. The modern rooms were well equipped with a minibar, cable TV, and a coffee maker, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The hotel had an outdated design and the restaurant closed at odd hours, making it inconvenient for guests. despite the excellent amenities, the hotel failed to provide a casual meeting facility and the staff seemed to lack attention to detail, such as the failure to provide an invoice despite multiple requests.

Staying at this place was an incredible experience! The location on the hill provided a stunning view, and the service was great. The room amenities were outstanding! Here, I could get everything I needed for making my stay comfortable like ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and an in-room safe. The staff at the Top of The Mark made my time memorable - they were welcoming and polite.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

I recently stayed at the stunning Mark Hopkins hotel for a few days while exploring the city. The beds and room were incredibly comfortable, and the location was just perfect! Situated on top of Nob Hill, it felt safe and secluded while still being close to Union Square. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Top of the Mark restaurant offered breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, especially at sunset. The room with two double beds was spacious and inviting, and the breakfast menu had a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruit and hot dishes. a fantastic experience!

As a business traveler, I really appreciated the excellent location of the hotel. It was centrally located in the lovely Knob Hill area, with dramatic views in every direction. The California Street cable car was right outside the front door, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel's proximity to Chinatown, Union Square, Polk Street, and North Beach was a major plus. It was safe to walk out at night, and if I didn't feel like walking uphill, taxis were inexpensive. The hotel also had a beautiful lobby and all the amenities I needed in my room.

This place is located at the top of a big hill in the Nob Hill area, which offers stunning views of the city. It is conveniently close to many attractions, including Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel offers excellent service with amenities such as room service, dry cleaning, and a bell staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is gorgeous. The staff goes above and beyond to make each breakfast an unforgettable experience. The in-room amenities, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar, add to the convenience and comfort of the stay. The Top of The Mark, the cocktail lounge on the top floor, is a must-visit, especially at sunset.

I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staff truly stands out as some of the best I have encountered in years. They are always pleasant, helpful, and professional. the breakfast option at the hotel is a great choice, as it saved me over $200 during my stay. Unlike many other hotels, the breakfast here is not the typical waffle or steam table variety. It is a freshly cooked, off-menu meal that was truly satisfying. the room itself is spacious and comfortable, with an incredible bay view in the deluxe room. the bed and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the historic building is centrally located and the rooms are quiet.

The staff at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins were incredibly friendly, especially the valet/parking guys outside. They made us laugh and joked with us, adding a great level of personality to our stay. We upgraded to a 1 bd suite with a beautiful view, and the concierge even gave us a gift of a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. The top floor offered stunning views, and the beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.

The hotel's location atop a very steep hill is impressive, with great transport links to many attractions. The staff were attentive and the rooms with double beds had very good amenities.
