I was pleasantly surprised by the charming and comfortable ambiance of this old mansion, turned, B&B. the rooms were well, appointed with antique furniture and historic memorabilia. the morning breakfast, although basic, offered a fresh and filling selection of fruit, bread, cereal. the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable, providing great tourist advice. the location was also a key highlight, with trendy areas and Victorian timber clad houses nearby.

The lack of an elevator was a downside to my stay. It was quite inconvenient to have to haul my bags up the stairs to my room, especially when there was no hotel staff available to assist.

The free breakfast was surprisingly abundant with fresh fruit, yogurt, and muffins. the location was great, within walking distance to public transportation and a pleasant stroll to the waterfront. the afternoon tea was a nice touch and the staff was always friendly and welcoming.
